Dr. Mrinal Bhatt

Dr. Mrinal Bhatt, a practicing dentist for more than 12 years, would like to welcome patients to this state of the art dental practice. Trans Zen Dental, PLLC, is the culmination of a dream to provide patients with the latest in dental technology in a calming, soothing environment. “I wanted to work in an office that I would want to be treated in myself, that is my goal.”

Dr. Bhatt hails from New Jersey, and upon graduating from Rutgers University with a B.A. in Biochemistry, she then attended N.Y.U. College of Dentistry. It was there that she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1995. She continued with her education at Montefiore Medical Center, the university hospital for Albert Einstein Medical Center, where she received a GPR certificate in 1996. She has completed many advanced education programs and is quite diversified in the field of dentistry.

Diagnosed with CRPS, or complex regional pain syndrome, in 2004, Dr. Bhatt feels that battling this rare disease has been one of her major accomplishments in life. The disease which permanently disabled her for 2 years is now in remission. She now enjoys a healthy and holistic lifestyle that she shares with her husband. Dr. Bhatt is proud to have recently completed the 10K Camp Pendleton Mud Run.

She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Laser Dentistry, and Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation.

Dr. Shankar Anandarajah

Dr. Anandarajah graduated from N.Y.U. College of Dentistry in 2003. He completed a General Practice Residency from Staten Island Hospital in 2004. He has completed numerous continuing education courses and is currently enrolled in the AGD Mastership program. His practice philosophy is to have a one on one relationship with his patients and educate his patients on the benefits of dentistry.

Dr. Anandarajah hails from Long Island New York and lives in Phoenix with his wife. He enjoys playing soccer and golf in the beautiful Arizona weather. He is currently reading "Lone Survivor" by Marcus Luttrell.
